The physics of interfaces is usually ignored on undergraduate physics courses yet once you look for them interfaces are everywhere. I will review some of the most interesting and intriguing problems of the statistical physics of interfaces, with a strong bias towards the problems I worked on in the last 10 years: fluctuations, elasticity and liquid crystals. I will end with a quick outlook on the problems I will be working on in the near future.
