CFTC: José Maria Tavares wins 2025 ISEL’s Research Stimulus Prize

José Maria Tavares has won a 2025 ISEL’s Research Stimulus Prize for the project “SABL- Self Assembly by Linkers”. This was awarded by the Lisbon Engineering School of the Polytechnic University of Lisbon (ISEL) and sponsored by Fundação Santander.

The prize money will allow J.M. Tavares and his CFTC co-workers, Pedro Patrício and Paulo Ivo Teixeira, to pursue a research that aims to generalize (through theory and simulation) some of the conventional approaches for the dynamics of self-assembly to the case where particle aggregation is mediated by linkers.
