Origin of Matter

The Universe is mostly composed of matter which, although inferred gravitationally, has thus far eluded direct laboratory detection. The origin and nature of this dark matter (DM) is still unknown. Despite the observational evidence accumulated over the years, it is not even clear if DM could reveal itself as a particle. Another puzzling observation is the matter-antimatter asymmetry of the Universe. In collaboration with experimental groups, we develop models from a bottom-up approach, to describe these phenomena, and aim to validate them and test predictions.
