2nd CLASS Workshop
Lisbon, 10-12 October 2012
This workshop focuses on the behaviour of complex fluids at structured
interfaces with emphasis on superhydrophobic surfaces and liquid flow over
heterogeneous solids, complex fluids at patterned surfaces, and
surface-directed colloidal self-assembly. The workshop provides an informal venue for theorists and experimentalists to
present their latest results. Keynote lectures will be delivered
by several distinguished scientists. Student and postdoc attendance
is strongly encouraged.
The workshop will be preceded, 8-9 October, by three short courses on numerical methods in soft condensed matter, aimed primarily at students and postdocs.
